FOLDING OPERATOR STARTING PAY $23-25

 

Responsibilities

  • Complete set ups on miniature folding equipment
  • Operation and preventive maintenance of folding equipment
  • Complete folding as per the specifications on docket and the sample provided in the docket
  • Maintain cleanliness of working area and equipment
  • Make prototype samples as required by customer and other internal departments
  • Ensure line clearance to prevent cross-contamination
  • Follow GMP and other protocols set by the company
  • Set up codes on the folding readers
  • Set up the water scores and glue guns on the folders
  • Ensure that the folders run at their optimum best efficiency
  • Abide by the company policy, procedures and related work instructions
  • Suggest improvements to department heads
  • Complete the weight checking of trays to ensure the number of inserts meet the packaging requirements
  • Fill the related forms and checklists correctly and on time

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working on GUK folders, MBO Folders, Stahl Folders or any other brand of folding equipment is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating folding machines or formally trained to run the folding machines

 

Hours

Monday to Friday

Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm

Afternoon shift: 1:30pm-10:00pm
