We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves assisting with shop operations, preparing orders, and ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and organizing products.
- Prepare and pack customer orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate a forklift
- Perform basic maintenance on tools, equipment, or vehicles as needed.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of products
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certificate an asset
